We have a busy year ahead of us and the students are excited. As the leaves have begun to change into their bright beautiful colors, we have started to settle down nicely into our classroom routines. But with all new routines there is a learning curve. I’d like the students to use their agendas daily. I have found with my own children, that the agenda is vital tool to stay organized. I ask the students to write in their agendas every morning. For these first few months I am asking parents to check the agenda and sign it. Students have been very inconsistent with completing assignments on time. With your help, I am hoping no homework assignments are missed in the future.
Students are assigned their ELA homework for the week on Mondays. Extra vocabulary is due on Tuesdays, spelling will soon be due on Wednesday, I SPY new words due on Thursday and every other week Literacy Letters are due on Friday. Please check the website if you need any of the homework clarified.
If you need some conversation starters for your child, ask them about MadLib Monday, I Wonder Wednesday or our Fast Plants. I hope you are enjoying the last of these warm days.
Have a great week
